September 17, 2016: This was a joint event held between the Essex National Heritage Area​ & Lynn Community Association, Inc.​ as part of the annual Trails & Sails weekends which showcases some of Essex County’s historic, cultural and natural sites. In Lynn one of the places highlighted was the Grand Army of The Republic Museum, which is also on the National Register of Historic Places.

February 8, 2019: The Grand Army of The Republic Civil War Round Table held a meeting which was covered by Lynn Community Television. During this meeting they talked about aspects of the Civil War, readings relevant to the war, showcased some memorabilia, & more. Credit: Lynn Cam TV

  April 30, 2019: During Massachusetts’ ARTWEEK, Lynn students visited the Grand Army of the Republic Museum on Andrew Street for a history lesson on the Civil War.

September 22, 2018:  On this Community Connector cable station LCTV sent a crew out for the rededication of the Grand Army of The Republic Museum & Hall.  The community came out to learn more about this hidden gem. The G.A.R. Museum features hundreds of artifacts from past American Wars, with an emphasis on the Civil War. The Community Connector is a show dedicated to highlighting some of the events that have happened in the City of Lynn.
